To find out more about how to take good care of your Oral-B electric toothbrush battery visit Taking Care of your Electric Toothbrush.

Europe only: We recently upgraded the battery in some of our toothbrushes by replacing the NiMH (Nickel-metal hydride) battery with a Lithium-Ion one. This is Oral-B's longest lasting rechargeable battery. When we upgraded the battery, we also changed the product name. For example, our Pro 2000 brush was renamed Pro 2 2000.

User manuals included with the newer brushes may still list charging times for the older NiMH batteries. We're working to update those manuals as quickly as possible. Please check the battery type in your brush and follow the charging time guidelines above.
